In 2013, Project Play was launched as the nation's first cross-sector effort to build healthy communities through sports. Today, it's a movement of thousands of organizations across the U.S. and beyond – sharing knowledge and developing actions aligned with our strategic frameworks.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our biggest event yet as we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Project Play and, together, chart next steps in helping sport develop the human potential of every child.

What To Expect
UNRIVALED NETWORKING
Colorado Springs is home to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and dozens of national governing bodies of sports. You'll meet leaders from those organizations and the broader Project Play network of foundations, corporations, community recreation groups, clubs, government agencies, professional leagues and teams, tech and media entities, and schools.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
The Summit is where we pump new ideas into the bloodstream that can trigger systems-level change in the development of sport opportunities for youth. In plenaries and breakouts, discover tools and gain fresh insights from grassroots innovators, kids, policymakers, national sport leaders and top citizen-athletes. This year's Summit will offer 25+ sessions within three themes: Why Sport Matters Now, Why Project Play Matters Now, and Why the Olympic & Paralympic Movement Matters Now.
ACTION
Be there as funders and other organizations announce new programs and commitments. We'll recognize the 2023 cohort of Project Play Champions. Given our location this year, we will also facilitate a conversation on the role of the modern Olympic Movement in building healthy children and communities, with the collective insights of attendees shared in a post-Summit summary report.
