The National Youth Sport Survey is currently closed.

The National Youth Sport Survey is a landmark effort to support a youth-centered sports ecosystem where every child can participate and reap the benefits of physical activity. Thank you to every partner who supported on survey distribution. We are reviewing the data and will release findings from the survey throughout 2026.

What is the National Youth SPORT Survey?

Ever wondered how we can collectively improve the state of youth sports in the U.S.? Data is the first step. The National Youth Sport Survey is a powerful tool for understanding young people’s relationships and experiences with organized sport. By collecting anonymous feedback from youth ages 10-17 on their experiences with sport and reasons for playing or not playing, we aim to:

  • Identify key trends and pressing issues

  • Inform decision-makers with data

  • Inspire action that leads to a better youth sports ecosystem

Your confidential responses will help create a comprehensive picture, providing the evidence needed to build a brighter future for everyone.
