Sign the ACL Pledge

Serious knee injuries are on the rise in teen athletes. You can help us change that.

The National ACL Injury Coalition invites you to join the #ACLpledge, a national campaign to raise awareness and inspire action on the crisis of serious knee injuries in youth sports. Whether you’re a program leader, coach, parent, athlete or administrator, we all have a role to play and every action helps.

How does it work?

  1. Sign the pledge below — Share who you are and why you’re taking the pledge.

  2. Take an action that advances the issue — Use our list of ideas to get started.

  3. Join the discussion online — Use #ACLpledge and tag us! We want to hear from you.

I pledge to:

  • I will do my part to understand this devastating injury, including long term consequences, the risk facing girls and agility sports, how neuromuscular training works and what’s stopping us from implementing this proven solution.

  • I will do my part to share information, stories and resources that raise awareness and inspire action in youth sports, especially by program leaders, coaches, athletes and administrators.

  • I will do my part to implement or encourage neuromuscular training in my club, school or community. Two decades of research show that simple exercises done regularly can reduce risk of ACL injury as much as 80%.
